New swimming pool for 2010
This one-bedroom hideaway is set in a truly spectacular position on a rural wooded hillside on the North East of the island between the villages of Lakka and Loggos. The cottage is approached by a twisty, undulating off-road track through olive and cypress and is roughly equi-distant from each village – approximately 3-4 minutes by car. Rachi Sunrise is located high above Monodendri Beach within a little clearing amongst the olive groves and the views across the Ionian Sea to the Greek mainland are simply magnificent. The air-conditioned accommodation is newly redecorated and although simple, as with many houses in Paxos, the peace and tranquillity of the secluded country location, and the privacy this offers, makes the cottage an ideal spot for honeymooners! Outside there is a covered corner veranda with table and chairs, again with great sea views, and a private swimming pool, currently under construction, will be operational for the start of the 2010 season. The sheltered waters of Monodendri Beach with its two tavernas, can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes but allow about 20 minutes for the walk back which is uphill most of the way. Because of the rural location, for absolute comfort we include a group B hire car in the holiday cost.
