Holidays in Paxos - Lakka
Lakka, the northernmost village on Paxos, is set in a horseshoe-shaped
bay which gives good shelter for water sports and safe swimming from its
beaches.
Lakka is restful and unhurried. Fishing boats and private yachts come and go, windsurfers appear one by one in the middle of the bay and boats leave to explore the many coves and beaches on the eastern side of the island.
In the evenings, its little squares and narrow alleys gradually fill with al-fresco diners. The 15 or so tavernas stay open till late and offer a widely varying menus.
